Yep, well it is fairly easy. I think the M5 goes upto a timing of 8-9 degrees, so upping it by +1-1.5 should do the trick!

Yes, I should hope so. I Not have the exact tuned details in front of me, so far the only tuner that is releasing all parameters is bms with their stage 1. What is not easy is juggling boost with timing when dealing with the limitations of pump gas. You can not put either too high.... Changing the parameters when you have access to the ecus is easy.....

When you have the flash in WinOLS, you can basically tune how you want it done. Yep, high timng adv requires higher octane ratings! I think, 93 octane is pretty good on this engine. I think tuners do this to get rid of the decreasement at high RPM:
They simply flash it with the CP then go for higher boost settings, more fuel etc. They CP it self is a different flash than the NON CP.

They are seeing slippage in the Dct as low as 22psi so running 24-25psi with methanol will require upgrading the clutch packs in the Dct. This has them rethinking their strategy as not everyone will want to touch their dcts....

Yeah! People just want a simple tune. But what I meant with the jb4 was that he can log his car!

I really hope terry makes the jb4 with fuel pressure control. I personally think the m5 can go 20 psi with 93 octane. Having 630-640whp on pumpgas with or without bolt ons is the perfect solution for most of us! I don't want to run meth, can't use it on the autobahn for 600km for instance.

I agree more power on pump gas is a step in the right direction....

So I think I'm going to pull the trigger on this tune when I head to Houston in September. Is there a contact phone or email that is suggested so I can get that ball rolling or just go based on what's on their website?

Still heading down to Eurocharged on the 14th? I have a dyno appointment there on the 15th for a baseline. I'll be talking to the guys about a tune as well.

MSR intake just arrived in the mail today so going for a dyno before I install.

Nice!i just rescheduled my appointment from
tomorrow to the 16th for a tune and downpipes. Boots has me hyped up. I left early this week and hit bad pot hole so car is in the shop for repairs hence the delay in schedule. I may drop off on the 15th
