Guys
I relocated from CT to Denver 90 days ago and just love it. A few drag tracks near by so will get the M5 out there real soon.
Only can find 91 octane so need to change settings from 93 to 91 octane and increase the boost. Tried to do it myself but no good and do not want to screw it up. Can someone recommend a tuning shop who can help with this in the Denver area? Thanks a ton. Mike

Did I read correctly you want to lower the octane and then raise the boost? If i were you I would lower the additional boost not raise it, the ecu will do its best to compensate for the altitude and different air pressure on its own. But I would not increase the boost while decreasing the octane

+1 on not increasing boost. I assume it was a typo and you want to decrease the boost.

Thanks guys for your replies. So my inclination was that with lower octane in CO that a setting needed to change in the BMS set up from what I remember from the install. Yet, in CT we set the boost I think at 2.25 or 2.5 and I was looking to be a bit more aggressive in the boost hence raise that. So, this is how I looked at it and maybe all wrong?

If you are running lower than recommended octane, you probably want to lower boost.

If you'd like to increase boost, get some torco accelerator. I usually buy by the 6 back and one 32oz should raise you above 93. I've used t when I had my share of muscle cars and it did the trick. It's pretty popular stuff.

If you do a search, you can find the chart that will tell you the ratio and how many points it raises.
