New member (w/ pics of course)!
Just wanted say hello to everyone here. I gotta admit, I was a lurker before I finally signed up, haha. Looking forward to meeting other members (and their
cars) in person at the socal meet in Jan! My buddy took these pics w/ his camera. |

Welcome. Car looks great! Is that Singapore Grey? Looks like you will need some Black front kidneys. Take my extra set!

Yeah, it was already too late
I remember there was already a thread about this, but CA requires front bumpers so a lot of dealerships here already have them installed for you when you pick up your car. |

actually.. the law is identification no higher than 60 inches above the ground in the front. I keep all my new car reg on my front windshield through the time I keep my cars. This is confirmed as legit by a couple of friends who are CHP officers.

I bought my M in OC and was delivered without front plate. Unfortunately, LA deliveries usually have the plates preinstalled.

Beautiful! Now that's a proper introduction. I'm thinking about hitting up Irvine Cars and Coffee this Saturday morning myself.

But I have seen a few M5's at Shelly and other OC locations that indeed had paper plates mounted. I guess you have to get to the car prior to the pdi being conducted and it depends on the dealer and what their internal rules are.

Yup, I should be there as well (it's the 6am part that's gonna kill me)! And thank you everyone for the comments. It's really my friend who should take the credit since I have no photography skills whatsoever.
