Front passenger seat belt

This has been bugging me for months....... Does anyone have a solution to the front seat belt buckle "rattling" on the B pillar?
I keep leaning over wrap it over the right bolster but it keeps slipping back and rattling. I can play with the passenger seat position but looking for a better fix.
Anybody else?

I hear you. Fasten it like someone is sitting in passenger side!

Had the same issue, sold the car.

I guess the only solution is to buckle it up as M6-Coupe posted.

Yes! Annoying! When passengers get out I usually have to "fix" it.

It's not a big deal. Yeah it slides down sometimes, but it's nothing I can't handle.

If I had your exhaust I wouldn't care either because I wouldn't hear it.....

I guess buckling would do it but what a PIA after someone gets out.

Dude by the way, BMW CEO Norbert Reithofer called, he said you need to post more pictures of your 30 Year on the forums.

I have found if you slide the buckle all the way down to the plastic rivet it and lay the belt flat it stops.

I had this issue with my first F10. Booked into service dept. to investigate and by chance my salesman was available and offered to do a quick test drive. He sat in the back as I said the rattle didn't occur when I had front seat passengers (I thought it was the passenger side seat at the time). Whilst we were driving he simple turned the metal part of the buckle to face the seat rather than the B pillar and the rattle was gone; I was a little embarrassed, but at least he saved my car from the trim taken apart!

If you trace the seatbelt from the seat base it is designed so that the metal part of the buckle faces the seat. I find that passengers (and me on the driver's side) tend to twist the buckle by 180 deg. during egress. I also tried the 'wrap over seat bolster' technique, but the buckle seems to rotate over the bolster when and face the wrong way (metal to B pillar).

Ok gotta try that vs the buckling technique......
I considered taking it in as it is soooo frustrating but figured I would get the best answer here, as usual.

I use the slide to hold the 'male' buckle up against the alacantara section so if it's rattling, I don't hear it. Seems to have worked for me. So far....
