Stupid Connected Drive question

In the last few months I just noticed that my "points of interest" search does not give me the option to do an online search. Whether I say it using voice commands or through the menu. Also, the BMW Online widgets no longer work telling me that I don't have connection. Did they do something wrong or is connected drive a contractual thing that expired. My car will be 4 years this September and I can't remember when the option disappeared.

That's all part of your BMW Assist services subscription. If it's expired, all the connected services are offline until you renew your subscription.

Since you have a 2014 model, go into the ConnectedDrive menu and goto the ConnectedDrive store. It'll tell you all the services available and when they expire. It'll also give you the option to purchase individual services and their pricing.

Ok thanks. I thought it was active for 4yrs, but I guess it's only 3 years.
