Hey, I haven't done anything about it. If you are going carbon or ceramic I would recommend no darker than 35%. I want to get my tint out and put 35% on but been really busy. I have heard good thing about art of tint that carbon mentioned as well.

Tint and putting laser jammers - two things i will get to by this summer. That's my goal.

You should also look into 3M Crystalline 40%. Alternatively, Formula One Ceramic 50%.

I have Formula One Pinnacle Series (ceramic) 35% on all windows and 70% on the front windshield and love it!!
I have Full Silverstone interior and it works very well!!

I did 35% rears and front doors 50%
I don't remember what kind of tint they have used on my car but i really like it, day time it gets darker and at night lighter, 2 years and still looks awesome! Paid $185.

just curious, for those of you who have tinted windshields.. did your tint guy mention that insurance can deny coverage if windshield is tinted? i wanted to go really dark on my c63, but after he told me this, i went lighter. on my upcoming m5, i'm going balls out. i don't really care, i'm just curious if it's true.

Just an update on this old thread - I didn't end up removing my tint. It looks ok and I don't find it too dark anymore. On my other cars I have gone with 35%.
