M5 is more luxury/daily. I like the soft close doors, heated/cooled seats, seat massage, night vision, a buncha features that arent' really needed but it's just cool to have. lol and the car isn't bad on gas for being 560hp. (but who buys an M to care?)

The only thing I don't like so far is where they put the cup holders. It blocks the controls.

Like someone said, the m3 is kinda boy racer. But I like it
Which one is faster? Lol

I was thinking about scing my m3 or wait a little and get the m5.. That might be an issue size being too big

I too have both. Can't part with either cars.
Love both and take them both to the track whenever I can.

thanks guys
I would test drive a new M3 before deciding on M5. I also had an E92 M3 and initially thought the M5 was better in every respect but now find myself missing the M3, for it is more nimble, had better throttle response, was much lighter, and had better sounds. The only things I wish it had were more low end torque and better gas mileage, which the new M3 has, so I think it's the best of both worlds. FTR I also had a new 335i loaner car and felt it was very fun to drive and comfortable, and thought if the new M3 is even better than this, it should be the sickest car around.
