Anyone add racing cats to catless downpipes?
So I had fabworx catless downpipes installed and really can't take the smell of the exhaust now. I was wondering if anyone has added a pair of racing cats somewhere inline and if it would help the odor problem? Was looking at these: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/f...0130/overview/
Does anyone think this would cause any issues or any reason to not try it out? Thanks |

I have the super sprint catless down pipes with their 200 cell catted mid pipes. I think I have the only set. It was ridiculously expensive, but it was a very early attempt to defeat the cel light... which failed. Smells normal I guess.

You can have some cats welded into your midpipes if smell is the only concern. That's what I'm going to do. So no stress, it can be fixed.

I'm going to get a tune so not concerned about the cel. Just want to reduce the odor without sacrificing too much power.
I'll try looking around for 200 cell cats to install on the midpipes. Thanks for the replies so far. |
