Frozen Silver near San Diego?

Hello,

I am in process of assuming a lease on a frozen silver F10 M5 and wanted to see if anyone in/near San Diego has a car I could lay eyes on? Your help would be appreciated.

My concern is that is it based off of SSII which is a color I do not like all that much. Too blue. It seems that the Frozen clear coat eats up a lot of the blue light. The frozen sliver doesn't look blue in the photos I have seen. can anyone comment?

Thanks,

Tom

I think BMW Encinitas may have one on the floor.

I had a frozen silver M3 the car is a bit like SSII in fact that's exactly what it is but with a matt clear coat.

It will change colour depending on the light from a steel silver through to a blue silver.

Thanks all. I called my guy at Encinitas and he said they don't have anything right now. How long ago was it there?

Yes Jay-K, lots of myths bandied about around the matt paints from BMW, in my experience very hardwearing and easier to look after than standard paint.

Think Apple Macbook Air for what Frozen Silver looks like. You don't see as much blue as in Silverstone. Doesn't seem blue at all really.
