Any 6-figure mass produced sports car will depreciate HARD. Just look at any AMG car such as the E63 or S63, they are worse than the M5 I think. On the opposite end, go look at a MKIV Supra or late model NSX and you will see the value has held at MSRP or sometimes higher the older the car gets because it was produced in VERY limited quantities. This is unusual since most sports cars drop like a rock too such as the Vette or Ferrari / Lambo!
