many are in the 60k range, but they have a reason. most have high mileage and don't have any of these buttons

i've looked at almost every '14 on the market - stalking them by decoding their vin and checking their service history if they are potentials. some don't qualify for CPO or extended warranties etc. but being a luxury car, if they don't have at least 4 of them buttons, they're out.

I'd say need LED headlights and B&O before driver asst imho 2014 and up.
Most of the 60 I refer to are 2013.

Exec is first entry point
I think I saw one without ---cheapskate lol
Comp is a nice have
Driver ast only worth it for blind spot, and I am always more comfortable with my human intervention and very easy to set mirrors to mitigate the adaptive ACC is a nice option as well as full leather over driver asst

When I was searching for the '13 CPO I eventually bought, I was thinking I could do without any of those options.. But then I found that cars w/o the options weren't selling for much cheaper anyways.

Now that I have one (with driver assist, exec, b&o, full leather, night vision) I realize how great it is to have the options. Even driver assist which would have been the bottom of the list for me, is SO useful. Main use is the fender cameras when pulling into spots, it has a yellow line showing you the front extension of the bumper/lower lip. So I never worry about pulling too far into the space or leaving 3 feet like an idiot.

Night vision though, I have yet to find a use.

I see the button for Night Vision and Heads-Up display?

What exactly are the other three? (and which one is which)

I have now officially taken over the title of 2014 M5 Comp Package stalker from Spider M5 because he bought one of the cars we were both bidding on! In fairness he was all over the car before I showed up so I am glad he got it.

Now I am hunting like an hour a day for a 2014 Comp Pack in Imperial Blue or Grey (maybe black) with a black or silverstone interior. Needs to be CPO or CPOable and needs to have less than 20k miles. Want same options as everyone else does incl B&O if possible.

Question for you guys on Driver Assistance Plus. Does Adaptive Cruise Control come already without Driver Assistance Plus or is it only available as part of Driver Assistance Plus? Looking a comment where someone said in this thread, "adaptive ACC is a nice option as well as full leather over driver asst". Can you even have adaptive ACC without driver asst?

No ACC for the '13 CPO I have. I don't know for sure, but I thought I heard that 14's have ACC . <-- Edit this was totally wrong, nobody gets it.

In the '13, it does watch the cars ahead, and alerts you in HUD and via steering wheel & beeping of sudden braking. But it doesn't seem to control the cruise control speed.

< 20k miles is a tall order but definitely doable. I will say the 23k CPO I picked up is cleaner than if I had owned the car the first 23k miles. So you can find clean cars higher miles. good luck!

Get the vin. Run it through a couple of vin decoders (I've seen differing reports) to see all options.
I'm still waiting for my car to be delivered. I must resist looking at what's available. I still get notifications of my saved cars dropping in price (including the one I bought). Uninstall time. Retired stalker.

Why not if it helps in day to day driving?
You like PDC or cameras or other conveniences or luxuries?
There's much more to this car than raw power.

You might as well wait a month and let 2017 ring in... means that 2013 is now ever 1 year older ... for negotiation

Yeah.. Horsepower doesn't matter when you're creeping forward and don't want to scrape the front bumper.

I call that package avoid-bumper-scraping-assist.

left one is blindspot warning, second one is collision warning, third one is lane keeping assist, and you identified the last two.

Circle BMW in NJ has a 2014 Comp as well, I also think Long Island Motorsport in Roslyn has a 2014 Comp as well

Thanks for the leads guys. Just called Competition BMW. I grew up about 10 miles from that dealership and that was the first place I ever sat in an E36 M3. Since then have owned a E46 and E93.

Can anyone answer the question on Adaptive Cruise Control? Do you get this on all 2014s and up even if you don't have Driver Assistance Plus??
