Just purchased my first M

Hi All,

long time lurker on this forum and now proud new owner of a new to me F10 Singapore Grey M5 that I pick up next Tuesday. I will definitely upload some pics once I have this Beast in my possession. I look forward enjoying the journey with you guys, hopefully problem free KM's

I picked up a 2015 with high kilometres (115,000) but the service records were good and it seems it was mainly highway driven. I purchased warranty from BMW for peace of mind but Gotdamn it was expensive since I passed the 100K kilometre.

I'm in Canada but the warranty is BMW two years 20k kilometers $9000 bumper to bumper...very expensive but because it was over 100k kilometers the price of warranty jumped from I think it was 6500 to 9000. I needed that piece of mind.

I received a similar quote...1 year / 100k total warranty for $6k USD.

Welcome and congrats. Singapore Gray is a great color but too close looking to my Anthracite E39 M5 to get another one, so I went with Imperial Blue.

If you ever get down to Niagara Falls/Buffalo, let me know!

Some quick cell phone pics. This beast is so much fun to drive. I coded a bunch of options via BimmerCode and next up will be a tune. I'm leaning towards Bootmod3 but I'm trying to do some research and see if it's the best choice for me. Black kidney grills coming soon
