+1. Completely unimpressed. Acceleration is the same as the stock car, appearance IMO is in fact worse, and the only difference is speed limiter removed, which just about any corner tuning shop can do...

AC Schnitzer , without a doubt, has STOPPED producing anything that excites me, different for differents sake?

If you change all the chrome accents to gloss black. Change up the wheels take off the roof spoiler. Paint that grey thing on the hood the same color. Would look dope.

Couldn't agree more, obviously the standard M5 had a top speed limiter... and they both seem to accelerate about the same rate after 150kph...

Thanks for saving me from finding the right words. This design is totally against the nature and purpose of M5s. I would only take the rear diffusor.

Plus, it is such a shame that they are comparing top speed video of these two M5s while the stock is with top speed limiter, which can be optioned to be released from factory and then the stock also reaches 305 km/h.

Schnitzer needs to remove the c,n,z,e and r from their name. It would be more indicative of their products.

AC M5 version looks TACKY to me...

almost ridicule... no sense of classiness, defeating the whole purpose of a M5: a wolf in a sheep clothing...

What AC did here is a Tiger in a comical clown costume ...

I would be perfectly happy with a stock looking M5.
why pay for more to get uglier?

What an epic fail for AC Schnitzer! Horrifically ugly car, modest real world performance gain, useless video.

The thread is pretty amusing though so at least we all got some entertainment value out of this.

Yuck. Front bumpers yuck. Rims yuck. Engine bay yuck. I'll take a stock M5 anytime. Performance figures look good but the actual performance is on par with a stock M5 except for the speed unlock past 270kph... how often do you get to that speed (even on a track?) anyway?

It doesn't need to be limited, just order the factory option speed pack or driver's pack whatever the name is, and the stock car is released up to 305 km/h anyway.

What happened to AC Schnitzer? They went down hill years ago. I still remember in the mid-90's, their products were amazing. Now I would be embarrassed to drive one of their monstrosities.

I think they now cater to their Russian and Dubai clientele. Which means gaudy grotesque cars.
