Odd how the LP560 is only fast as the old Gallardo, but slower than the R8 V10 Spyder?
this is why i can't put too much faith in lap times. on any given day a driver or car can be at it's best or worst. an lp560 is significantly faster than a standard gallardo.

The CTS-V got beaten by the E63 AMG at the Rockingham circuit:

CTS-V: 1.38.85

E63 AMG: 1.36.22

The E63 was quicker than the Panamera Turbo as well.

Panamera Turbo: 1.36.83

Huge improvement over the E60! I'm looking forward to seeing in-depth reviews on the F10 from AutoCar, Top Gear, e.t.c.

But.. LP670-4 SV slower than the LP640?

I don't know, drive an STI and then a 1 series and it's pretty clear the BMW is far superior as an all around car especially in terms of its quality but the STI is one of the most fun cars out there, I never pass up on the opportunity to get behind the wheel of one.

I'm not liking the future or direction of the M division these days, but damn it's hard to argue with those numbers. It beat some bonafide supercars on that list.

This is definitely true, but I wonder how much faster the F10 M5 will be with the ceramic brakes...

These times are impressive, for both cars. But it hardly matters to anyone but fanboys since 99.9% of us on this site could never do it. Hell, most people who own those cars will sadly never even track them.

You honestly expect a big, heavy sedan to catch up with the 997?

Caddy will come for that ass...which M5 fans should be happy, because competition improves the breed.
