this is why i can't put too much faith in lap times. on any given day a driver or car can be at it's best or worst. an lp560 is significantly faster than a standard gallardo.

Huge improvement over the E60! I'm looking forward to seeing in-depth reviews on the F10 from AutoCar, Top Gear, e.t.c.
But.. LP670-4 SV slower than the LP640? |

They really are great cars just a lot of people think they are of a superior race with a BMW key in their hands

I don't know, drive an STI and then a 1 series and it's pretty clear the BMW is far superior as an all around car especially in terms of its quality but the STI is one of the most fun cars out there, I never pass up on the opportunity to get behind the wheel of one.

I'm not liking the future or direction of the M division these days, but damn it's hard to argue with those numbers. It beat some bonafide supercars on that list.

This is definitely true, but I wonder how much faster the F10 M5 will be with the ceramic brakes...

These times are impressive, for both cars. But it hardly matters to anyone but fanboys since 99.9% of us on this site could never do it. Hell, most people who own those cars will sadly never even track them.

Not really, all they have to do use the MT version instead of the automatic that they used, better tires, and maybe up the boost...and come right back with a lower time...
Caddy will come for that ass...which M5 fans should be happy, because competition improves the breed. |
