Yes, Performance black grilles are a factory option for F10 M5. Per E90Fleet, here are the part numbers:

Left grille: 51 71 2 165 539
Right grille: 51 71 2 165 528

*These are NOT for cars with Night Vision

Is it just me or does it look more navy than grey compared to other singapore grey pics on this site? How does it look in person? Is it more grey than blue? This will help me make a decision. I don't want to go with the safe choice of AW. I might have to look at moonstone, but some newer pics of that looks too blue for me too like silverstone II (yuck).

It depends on the sunlight or lack off, you,ll see that its mostly deep grey bit there is also some blue and green in the paint. Its very nice. I was doubting between silverstone and SG and im very happy i went SG.

I've got my order in with Space Grey and Sakhir interior, but leaning heavily toward the Singapore after seeing these. Now that you have the car in Singapore how would you compare it to Space grey and do you feel it is a much better color?

Thanks,

I changed my color from Space Gray to Singapore Gray the other day. I really like Space Gray - but the color is EVERYWHERE and the Singapore Gray is exclusive (so far) to the M5 and M6.

My favorite view is how the blue brakes play against the grey exterior. Congrats!

Are the black grills a no cost factory option? If not, do you know the cost?

Also, it looks like his car has black side gills. Is this also a factory option? Do you know the order code or part number?

Thanks!

Does anyone have any advice on how to get these specified as an option for the car, so that when we go to take our ED they are already installed?

There are no black side gills currently available from BMW - so the only way to get them is to order OEM gills and paint them and bring them to ED or buy them from IND pre-painted.

As for the performance grill, that is available with part numbers so I would let your dealer know that you want that. As for pricing Im not sure, bc if you choose it do you pay full msrp for the grills but dont get the base standard grill?

I will be ordering the gills and grill afterwards on my own and replacing them on my own.
