Logs from bm3 stage 2 91 acn

I can't seem to find any post or log regarding a pull on the ACN stage 2 map for these cars, so i'm going to post up 2 logs I got from today, curious to see what y'all think. I'm seeing a bit of timing corrections in a few sections of the pull, as well as one knock in the 4th gear pull.

Cars setup is Stage 2 91 ACN, intakes and downpipes.

This log was a 60-130 pull. Not an ideal way of logging a car but, was just curious how it was running during those pulls.

And this is a 4th gear to redline pull.

Here's a partial 3rd gear log of mine. We have crappy gas here - I'd guess the equivalent of 91 octane in the USA. I'm using 10% ethanol on this run. I have a custom BPM tune that limits torque / caps boost low down. You'll note that my boost drops off after 6,500 rpm but that's because I'm at 5,500 feet above sea level.

Logs are looking pretty decent, I see no timing correction, im confused why i'm getting some timing correction on my end, maybe the fuel?

I'll often see timing corrections - usually up to 3 degrees on one or two cylinders when the car is at maximum load. Yes, I think the poor-quality fuel is the main culprit. In my case, IATs are often a contributing factor as our summer climate is hot and dry. On your data log, IATs are on the low side so I wouldn't imagine they played any role in the timing corrections you see. Add Boostane and/or 10-15% eth and do another log to test.

I’m on the ACN tune so for fuel to be a factor even with this type of tune is a bit frustrating

At this point I’m really considering methanol to up the octane and run a more aggresive map.

Yes, meth is a good option. If set up correctly, it adds some octane and helps keep IATs in check. I may go the meth route in future but for now, I'm happy just running ethanol (even though I do see timing-corrections here and there).I suggest you get a decent quality meth kit with all the necessary fail-safes. You certainly don't want your motor to hydro-lock

haven't kept up to date with this but Aquamist (UK-based) used to make quality kits. I'm sure there are multiple others that will do the job properly, but you'll need to do some research or elicit feedback from forum members running meth

Consider Snow Performance Stage 3 WMI kit as well. Very user friendly IMO.
