Have you had the opportunity to log your car? What other mods?

I have logged some, not a full 2nd to 4th though. I made sure trims didn't reach 50 when I made the pulls. Also, target and actual are in line as is timing and afr.

I will probably run it with octane booster or e85 to see if that makes the car more consistent.

Mods are drop ins and muffler delete, so pretty much stock

Interesting. I have a '16 CP and run it on Map 2 (otherwise stock), and while my fuel trims are maxed out, my AFR is still in line.

Others on n54tech have posted logs on non-CP cars running lean at higher RPM using Map 2 - I guess it boils down to the individual car then.

Here's one of my logs of Map 2:

Afr on mine (stock dp, non-cp, map 2, 91 octane) is much higher for some reason, in the 14-15 range. If I get back end flash I might be able to squeeze more power out of it, correct?

Makes sense, 14-15 is lean. Figured your AFR's were relatively lean because you are non-CP (CP cars run richer so you can get away with a bit more). I would stick to Map 1.

With a full flash you'll be able to get more out of it. Map 2 @ 22lbs is pretty much on the cusp of what the DCT can handle, so I'm waiting to upgrade to Dodson clutches for the flash+JB4 stack.

Will a couple of gallons of e85 or an octane booster help with afr?

Thx

I will get some better videos in the next few days. So far extremely happy with the tune and exhaust set up.

Thats very lean, any tuner would target 12.5 under boost. You def shouldn't run 91 on that map either. And just a fyi making it more rich makes it safer not necessarily more power

I've switched to map 1 until I know how much e85 is optimal and/or I have a backend tune. It feels good on map 1, map 2 was strong but inconsistent.

I wish we had access to 93 octane

Use e85 calculator http://www.georgebelton.com/E85Calculator.php

I would advise you to run an e85 mix of at least 2 gal per tank if you're using 91 in CA. Running low octane on a modded car is not great for the motor. Can you get access to 100 octane? In Dallas it turns around $7/ gal but it makes a hang of a difference..when racing..

No. Don't run E85 with the JB4 only - if you have a full reflash (or meth) you can get away with an E85 mix. If you run E85 on Map 2, where your AFR is already lean, you will only be making it worse by leaning out the mix.

I will log some runs on map 2 this weekend, curious how everything is running with the Eventuri intake and catless dp's on Map 2. Only issue i am having now is keeping traction in 2nd gear in Map 2.

Did a few quick pulls on Map 2, gear - 2nd to top of 3rd. I had every thing in sport plus D3 and MDM. Does everything look ok to you guys?

I'm still need to wrap my head around the graphs and all of the parameters.

Looks lean, but going richer as rpm's increase. Would love to hear about your log from other members.

Try posting the log on n54tech and getting their feedback

Just posted them in M5/M6 S63TU BETA JB4 Directions & Firmware form on N54. Doesn't appear that i can attach a excel document on this form.

I had the DCT replaced a couple days after the install, think possibly the tech could have knocked something loose .
