Much better off starting with Stage I, and then flashing to Stage II once the downpipes are on, or a couple days before.

Only takes three minutes to flash a new tune, and we're always available to help with this remotely.

I run Stage 1.5 on my car because I have stock DPs, but I stay on top of it by using higher octane fuel or mixing E85 to keep combustion quality in check. 91 octane just doesn't cut it.

So can we request a stage 1.5 flash on stock downpipes if we mix in e85? There is an e85 pump 3 minutes from my house. How many gallons do you mix in?

Yes. I'd do 3 gallons tops.

BPM all day. Mike's knowledge and customer service is second to none. I have the BPM stage 2 and the car is a monster.

With just the factory tune, 91 octane, and 3 gallons of E85 will the car run better? Maybe a bit more power or no difference?

It will probably help becuase 91 octane isn't very resistant to pre-ignition at peak torque, especially in harsher conditions.

I would make sure you have a good understanding of what you are being offered before leaping out to decide. In my instance I liked the fact that DME Tuning and MSR had developed a great tune together that was based on data logs and real world driving conditions.
