M5 steering wheel
I think I must be one of the very few on here that doesn't want to swap out my current M5 wheel for the M6 style!
I am interested in a bit of modding and wondered if anyone had done any. I know you can buy a carbon fibre 'Y' piece but I don't like the fact it looses the M badge. I have piano black in my car and was wondering how difficult it would be to have the 'Y' piece turned to piano black and the small key line above a silver or even colour coded to the car. Do they both come off easily? |

If you go onto the bmw performance website, there is an option for the 5-series steering wheel. I believe it is a flat bottom alcantara wheel with a red strip at 12 o'clock.
