What hotels do you guys recommend in Munich?/Various other cities.

For those that have done European Delivery what hotels do you guys recommend in Munich? Doesn't have to be close to the Welt or anything. I'll be traveling to Europe for a month and half to see the Monaco F1 races in May (our main attraction this time around) with my parents and we will be in Munich for 4 days or so to check out BMW and Mercedes AMG in Affalterbach. We were in Munich in summer of 12' so we are going back to see the things we missed and want to see again.

Some of the other cities we will be staying in are
-Lucerne, Switzerland
-Monte Carlo, Monaco/Nice, France
-Ljubjana, Slovenia (overnight stay)
-Budapest, Hungary
-Krakow, Poland
-Prague, Czech Republic
-Munich, Germany
-Berlin, Germany
-Hamburg, Germany
-Amsertdam, Netherlands
-Dusseldorf, Germany (arrival & departure city)

Possibly Vienna, Austria or Paris, France. They want to charge an arm and leg for hotels in Paris lol, things have gone up since the last time I was there nine years ago!

If you have any recommendations on the other cities regarding hotels or must see attractions please feel free to share. We mostly have them picked out but still undecided on some. Any help is appreciated.

I think Baden Baden is worth a stay. Plus the drive thought the Black Forest back roads were the best of the entire trip. We stayed at Brenners Park Hotel, very special place.

We booked the Westin because it was Octoberfeat and most other places had already sold out.

We had a very nice suite with an a good view, amazing sound system, large living room guest bathroom, large marble master bathroom. Free food, wine and champagne in the Club too. We would stay there again.

Baden Baden: Der Kleine Prinz

Luzern: Beau Rivage in Weggis, or if you really want to stay in Luzern proper the Palace or the Art Deco Hotel Montana (my favorite). The steamship stop is 100 yards from the Beau Rivage, and allows easy transit to the towns and villages on the Lake. There is no better views from a hotel on Lake Luzern than the Beau Rivage.

I highly recommend The Charles in Munich. I travel to Germany many times every year, so I have some perspective on what you should expect in hotels there. The service is the best I've had in Europe and you can walk to Mariene Platz . You'll pay for it, but you own an M5 so you already understand.

In Prague, I highly recommend the Le Meridien. The rates are reasonable, the rooms are massive, it's modern, great bathrooms, and very well located. Plus a decent parking garage and the valet guys made sure I found a really nice parking space.

In Munich I am a fan of the Westin Grand. It's not as well located as other hotels, but its very comfy, and has superb parking for cars. I always see several European delivery cars in the garage at the Westin Grand.

Amsterdam: anything within the canal district or "Jordaan" district. I'd recommend a jacuzzi canal view suite at The Toren (check trip advisor). Parking is major headache in Amsterdam. Be prepared to leave the car in a public parking (cost at least 35 USD / 24 hours).
Hamburg: Sofitel Alter Wall (reasonably priced, great location, safe parking)
Düsseldorf: Intercontinental (located on the Königsallee: lots of awesome carspotting).

What's up SGD -

In Nice I stayed at:
PALAIS DE LA MEDITERRANEE
Address: 13 PROMENADE DES ANGLAIS
NICE FR 06011
Phone: 33-4-92147700

They are a part of the leading hotels of the world program. If you have a centurion or platinum card you get all the benefits of that. I booked through AMEX.

I drove from Nice to Miramas (to BMW's private test track for an event) and realized I forgot my passport and a lot of cash in the hotel safe. I couldn't believe it, but the hotel in Nice sent a guy in a MBZ AMG all the way to me in Nice. Delivered my passport and all my cash. So great hotel to say the least.

While I stayed in Nice for a few days I drove to Monaco. Nice drive to do. Don't forget you can rent an M, P, or AMG car from Sixt.
