What to do with stock exhaust?

Earlier this month I won a Borla cat back exhaust system. It just showed up and I have an appointment all set up to get it installed.

While I was at the shop dropping off the Borla I was asking about what to do with my stock system. My car is leased through 1/17. They just did an exhaust on an M6 and had the factory system there. It is all one piece and it is huge.

They said that they could cut mine at the welds so that it would be transportable and then, when I want it reinstalled, they can weld it back together.

For those of you who have swapped exhausts, what did you do with your stock system? I've thought about leaving it on there and figure I won't get dinged at the end of lease, but I have the Comp package so I don't know if they will notice that the tips aren't black anymore.

Thoughts?

Keep the oem exhaust around and have them re-weld it later. It's only 100 bucks to get done at exhaust shop and takes less than 30 minutes.

Contemplating Aftermarket - What to do with Stock???

Was just speaking with a person at my local BMW service center about aftermarket exhaust (of course he was pushing Akrapovic), but I'm wondering what to do with the stock system?

Sounds like there may be a market for this setup? If so, what price would be a solid asking price for a full system that's still essentially brand new?

Thanks to anyone who chimes in and gives me any information!!!

$750-900 depending on whether it's just mufflers or full system.
