If the E60 M5 was the new model, I would still be happy. I can't get over the noise it makes. It will be missed, but the F10 sure is looking pretty

Umm what?? You are comparing a car that is down on you by 250 Hp, yet up on you by 50 ft-lbs of tq? A little bit nonsensical, in that case the new m5 is a little up on HP but way up on TQ, trust me that will win a race against you.

Sure the F10 looks nicer but its too long every inch they add is one too many. I'll take the E60 that car sounds ridiculous. The size is a little too much but it doesnt look like a car that needs you to be driven around by a chauffeur. F/I doesnt do it for me. The new V8 ///M engine sounds like vaccum cleaners the X5M/X6M are terrible. I'd rather drive an X5 4.8 (e70) over the M version. A lot of people will see in 4-5 years that F/I are not a good idea too many leaks/hoses tubing.

Ok be a bit more realistic here. 335D is wayy down on power compared to the S85. I'd say torque becomes and advantage when hp numbers are close. Because this new motor has around 550hp and much more torque, I will gamble that the new car will be faster. That's also why lightly modded C63's and GTR's are both able to pull on the M5 on highway pulls

Would anyone like to know the volume of these cars? Because i would. I feel that although the f10 is only 2 or 3 inches larger, the volume of the F10 is insanely larger than that of the e60. I am just looking at the hoods and it appears to be that way.

If were from 50 years in the past or the future I wouldn't be able to tell you by looking at these pictures and looking under the hood which is the more advanced car from a design or performance perspective.
