Man this fills my heart with so many good feelings. Now I just have to bring my M5 over there and join in on the fun. Although I'm sure the exotic car paparazzi over there would think I'm some crazy Saudi Prince when I'm causing mayhem in Knightsbridge.

Also notice the crack of the exhaust on the upshift at 0:16s in the video. This is what I have been trying to show and tell people for the longest time. But so far only people who have heard my exhaust in person really know. I think that because of the surrounding tall buildings on the street, the crack gets reverberated and bounces off all the walls really well. That's why we can hear the crack so clearly at 0:16s. I can honestly say that I haven't heard an aftermarket exhaust with the mufflers still on make that crack on the upshift or nearly as loudly as the RPi GTM mufflerless system does. Now can you all understand why I love this exhaust? Just wait until my new videos too!

There have been 4 versions of the RPi exhausts for the F10 M5.

1. GTS - Full System with Resonators and Mufflers
2. GT - Full System with NO Resonators and Mufflers (Now discontinued)
3. GTM v1 - Full System with NO Resonators and NO Mufflers
4. GTM v2 - Full System WITH Resonators and NO Mufflers

Confusing I know. Lol!

Also a fun fact - As far as I know there are only 4 M5's in the World that have combined the RPi GTM Exhaust with the RPi GT Catless Downpipes which results in a straightpipe system for the F10 M5.

1. ME! Ive' been running the RPi GTM v1 (No Resonators) exhaust combined with Catless Downpipes for almost 1 whole year now.
2. RPi's own F10 M5. The Owner of RPi also has the RPi GT Catless Downpipes combined with the GTM v1 exhaust.
3. M5Post Member Boots - He runs the RPi GT Catless Downpipes with the RPi GTM v2 (WITH Resonators) exhaust.
4. M5Post Member Mstmng - I'm pretty sure he has the same setup as Boots.

You have to remember that there are only three tuners who make a muffler deleted exhaust system for the F10 M5. The very first one was Hartge, but they cut off the stock mufflers and bolted on a straight muffler deleted section 3. The next one was RPi, which was the first company to design a completely straightpipe system with no resonators and no mufflers. The last is Turner Motorsport. They copied Hartge's idea and designed their own section 3 muffler deleted system to be bolted on the stock exhaust system. The RPi Section 3 Muffler Deleted section cannot be bolted on to the stock exhaust system because the RPi system is a Full Design system that is designed completely different than the stock exhaust. If you look at a top down view of the RPi system it is the system that has straightest possible lengths with very very few kinks in the exhaust system. I also believe this helps the exhaust note.

So even if you combine Catless Downpipes with the Hartge or Turner exhausts, it still won't be fully straightpiped, cause you still have the resonators in the stock Section 2 of the exhaust, but it'll be close to the RPi GTM v2 system. There's one person I know running with Catless Downpipes and the Turner muffler deleted exhaust system.

Also there is a difference in the sound of the exhaust note with and without resonators. However, without resonators there's LOT's of drone. Lol!

Cool video Bro The terror of London. Like Dave said true straight pipes are just that. Not a cut/bolt on. These straight pipes are loud at cold start BUT mellow out after 20 seconds. Up shift/downshift are crazy @ the same time giving your car the right amount of rumble inside the cabin. Before I bought mine Dave informed me on his experience w the m5 Rpi products. Even though I had a axel back in my 550 this m5 is a different beast. His car sounds awesome and he would have bought the Rpi dp if it weren't for expensive shipping cost. Rpi taking over again. Rpi FTW! I wouldn't trade mine for any other brand.

Will be looking to go for the same setup as you and Mstmng RPi GTM v1 (Non resonated) but will probably end up getting supersprint catless dp since i live in the UK too guessing theres no difference with the rpi catless dp and supersprints?

Is non resonated a little louder if yes thats perfect for me I really dont mind drone I know it can become annoying for long journeys but really doesnt bother me just aslong as its louder

Also what colours is the exhaust in? Chrome? black? is there any carbon fibre tips etc?
The RPi systems only come in Stainless Steel. But I painted mine myself, matte black.

I drove over 6,000 miles across the entire United States with no resonators and I didn't shoot myself, it's really not that bad. Just stay above 2,000rpm on the highway and it's quiet.

Mstmng has the resonated GTM v2 System.

Also read my Signature.

Lots of F10 exhauste info. .. wow!!
Should be a stickie on exhauste section -
Can't touch mine - lease and rarely keep ' em and get rid of them on swap a lease a little after a year!
So can't take risk of a major upgrade on a lease or willing to pay that much for that short period of time! Though absolutely worth it..
What is the best way of improving on the exhauste (I like it but could be better) without issues with lease!! In case I keep it - because so far I like it and it may be a keeper -
