Although I think if the artist could revise the render, he would include a much more aggressive rear spoiler (as seen in the spy shots).

Totally unrelated side note: There are a couple of guys unloading their 2014 E63 AMGs over at MBWorld (one with less than 200 miles, fully loaded, and price reduced to $93k so that it can sell quick). Man is that enticing.
Why are they getting rid of them so quickly? I'm going to wait till a year or two into the Model cycle to pick one of these up, just so that the kinks have been worked out.

There are far more keeping than selling.

The kinks have been worked out. The '14 E63 is just an LCI model; it's not a complete redesign. However, because the exterior changes were so significant, a lot of people interpreted the '14 as a redesign.

Furthermore, the motor in the '14 E63 has been around for years already. It's a proven motor by this point.

You'll be waiting another 8 years then. The 2015 C63 is going to remain RWD.

Yep. If I could get a turbo'd 4L V8 with DCT and good rear biased AWD, I'd be saving my pennies.

If you want a 5.5L biturbo V8 with a rear-biased AWD drivetrain, the E63 and E63-S are both available.

How has 4matic advanced? Is it of the same caliber as xdrive nowadays? There does not seem to be as much literature on the Benz system (or marketing).

The 4matic system splits torque differently, but other then that, the xDrive system is pretty much on par with 4Matic.

The 4MATIC drivetrain system is substantially lighter than it used to be.
