Congratulations. Great color. I was greatly relieved when my M6 was returned with the corrected oil pump. I can just imagine how much more relieved you must be given yours was an ED transport.

Call BMWNA and ask to speak to the "case manager" that is handling this issue. If you are direct but respectful they will make mountains move. My case manager was very instrumental in orchestrating all the moving parts on this fix.

I'm gonna try that today. I have spoken to someone from BMW NA before cause someone called me after I was ranting a bit on twitter. Took the VIN etc and said they'd contact me back. That was like Monday am. No word yet.

They are probably going to take 8 weeks Munich to GA on mine due to incompetence and inability to run a consistent operation

5 weeks is great turnaround for sure. Last summer when I did ED for my 1///M, I dropped it off in Vienna on Aug 1 and picked it up at PCD on...Oct 14th. Those were the longest 11 weeks in my life! LOL
