Whole light cluster I expect will cost around £1000 at least. The fronts will be a lot more I suspect something like £1000 per corner.

Cheers,
Neil
Ahh yes - the epic pissing match on who was first. I've been enjoying it. '

However it wouldn't surprise me if wdimagineer just gets a 2014 M5 with Competition Package instead, and then transfers his Akrapovic, body kit, HREs etc.

I was wondering when Neil would chime in. I don't really care who is first. What I do care about are the costs of the upgrades and whether service will be an issue. Previous retrofits on this and my other F10 have required original parts to be reinstalled prior to servicing which is really annoying.

If the cost is too great I'd rather spend it on a different vehicle.

My car is being featured at the CCA Legends and Festorics events later this year in August. Might be a good time to advertise and sell it then.

My commute has recently changed and I'm contemplating a Tesla so I can get the California HOV lane access stickers. As intoxicating as the M5 is the reality of sitting in bumper to bumper traffic negates the whole purpose of the car. I'm very jealous seeing EV's pass me in the left lane at speed. I guess we'll see.

I don't like the wheels. I hope I can still get the 2013 20" style 343M when I order the 2014 M5.

This is not an issue in South Florida, but I would definitely get a Tesla if I had a California commute. It's a no brainer. I hear they are going to launch an advanced handling package too.

Agreed. I miss Miami for this reason. I'm waiting to see what they do. I'm an acquaintance of Elon's through work. He's been reserved in talking about future plans. But recent leaks have shown the software capable of adaptive cruise, parking sensors, additional cameras, etc. Adding those would seal the deal immediately.

the wheels are ugly, however if i were to go buy a sedan it'd easily be an m5. The new bodies are just gorgeous to look at

For the Comp Pack in the M3 they didn't offered any power upgrades and the car was faster with it.
Curious to see some track times with this one
