New to me 2014 M5

Hi Guys,

Just picked up a CPO 2014 M5 this past weekend. Pretty happy with it. I had an E60 M5 for about 4 years, so happy to be back in an M5.

It's Sapphire Black with Moreno leather and piano black interior trim. It has the competition package, executive package, and the Bang & Olufsen sound system. It has a manual transmission like the E60 I had, and although I know the DCT makes the car faster, I prefer having a manual shift.

This car is alot different than my E60, not just in dynamics but in user interface as well, so there is a lot to get used to. But it's extremely comfortable and very fast so I'm happy.

Very Nice!! Might I recommend you do not black out the side vents; they compliment the wheels perfectly.

I plan to keep it stock (including the side vents) except for some coding to unlock some of the features not available here in the US.

As far as the V10, yes I miss the sound and instant response but they aren't making them any more and I could never buy one used this long after they were made as most of them have been beaten really hard, and replacing an engine in one of those is cost prohibitive.

The reason I got this F10 M5 is because my E60 was rear-ended, while I was sitting at a red traffic signal, by a delivery truck going 50 mph and totaled.
