Matte Blue M5
I've been on this forum for a few years but this is my first time posting pics of my car. I apologize upfront for the quality as they were taken with my iPhone and I'm a lousy photographer. And hopefully I didn't screw up the pic posting process.
My M5 is wrapped in Avery's Brilliant Blue Matte Metallic, with gloss black accents (roof, mirrors, door handles, grille and rear lower valance). My inspiration to post was the fact that I just coated my HRE P101s in a chameleon purple mix of Xytek (similar to Plasti Dip). I realize the fact that the spray line is visible on the inside of the barrel may send some of you into a fury of disgust. Feel free to let your opinions fly. I won't be offended in the slightest. |

love the wrap.. Blue matte is a very nice color, however the color of your wheels is not my cup of tea.. Anyway it's more of personal preference. Enjoy the beast in good health..

Must be nice to have so much expendable income you literally took an m5 and recreated my morning bowel movement after I ate koolaid straight from the pack.
Of course- I want to be like you when I grow up so I too, can ruin vehicles for fun.

plasti-Dip looks good except for Over Spray.
Needs Lowered HRE could've stayed to its original Color. matte Blue+ Pink Wheels +stock height =don't match imo still have the v8tt power over anything around so enjoy the drive |

I figured the wheels would be the polarizing part. They definitely are NOT pink, though. And I passed the blue/gold dress test. But I can see how they appear pink in the pics. Maybe I'll have to get some in person opinions of the color. I don't mind driving around with PURPLE wheels that some/most people dislike. But I definitely don't want to drive around with PINK wheels, regardless of whether anyone likes them.

The matte blue is nice. The wheels are not for me. I see the 5 series/m5 as an "executive car" and feel the more overt modding should be left to the 3 series m3/m4 range. But that's just me. Enjoy!

I had my wheels done at a shop in Hollywood called The Coat. Blake runs in. You can tell him I referred you. He'll remember me.

I'm a bit tired of the current M5 craze for black wheels..looks good but If someone has the balls to change up the color...how about white?
