Re-surface or replace rotors?
My '13 is about 4k miles from need a brake service on the rears (54k miles total, but I bought the car CPO at 31k miles).
Does BMW usually replace rotors or depending on the condition, will they re-surface them? Since it's an M car, I suspect they will want to replace them. |

there is a minimum permissible thickness stamped on the center section. Although the dealer tends to replace, I have gone through two sets (three sets once) of pads without reaching the minimum thickness. If you heavily track your car, new is probably the way to go.
