These companies exist to make money, not to provide you value for money
The world the last even 10 yrs changed a lot
Best advice from my dad “son, they are all assholes”

Just remember that

Some warranties aren't worth the paper they're written on, beware of tune clause or if the car was ever fitted with one.

I believe so. To be fair, I'm not dragging on my sales guy. It was the finisher guy who they take you to to get the paperwork done that got me. I know it was foolish of me to believe him. But I don't think all dealer sold warranties are bad. I also bought protection for exterior damage on my 750i and got the windshield replaced. I think total cost was over $1K. I didn't know this but BMW windshields are expensive bc they have to be calibrated for rain sensors, HUD and other computerized tech.

I did have to have them change some wording in the contract, mainly a numerical number of the labor rate they would cover (149 at a local BMW dealership) and ensuring that the sale price amount is clearly stated as the aggregate claim value of the contract. No claims in 9 months, knock on wood.
Can you pm me please. I am signing with them also but need some guidance.
