Tire / wheel insurance
As I understand it The m5 will not have rft. Does that man the tire assistant kit is included or is that an option?
On a related note, do people recommend the tire/wheel insurance? My dealer is quoting me a warranty from fidelity. Is this the standard BMW optional tire insurance? Isnt there an optional tire/wheel deal from BMW directly. I'm concerned about buying the car out of state and having to get serviced at a different dealership that might not honor fidelity. Any input would be appreciative. Thx. |

It has a flat tire repair kit like all other BMW without spare or RFT.
Is the fidelity one much cheaper? If not go with BMW's for peace of mind. Or call up the local dealerships where you might have the car serviced and ask if they take fidelity. Insurance is one of those things... It's worth it if you ever have to make a claim and not worth it if you never have to use it. And for some it's worth the peace of mind even if it's never used. |
