The MSR intake is worth the price in looks and sound alone; it doesn't hurt that it makes great power. The amount of time that George spent fitting for each application, jigging for production, getting the CNC work done, and welding makes the price look pretty fair.

You are only considering cost of material as being tangible. Tangible doesn't only mean something that can be touched. Tangible also means something that can be clearly grasped by the mind. I can easily see the value in the MSR craftsmanship, quality control, packaging, and customer service. That is tangible to me as well as many others.

I can't get it even if I wanted to because I've got an X5M, you guys should be bitching due to his gross ///M tax for two pieces of 4' tubing and I didn't know I couldn't reply unless I was on his D.

I mentioned him trying to make an X5M, he wasn't interested. I asked Underground the same thing, at least they're entertaining it.

Actually, you're wrong. This is my car (with MSR), and yes, the other one covers more of the radiator...and I wasn't even asking you, but thanks for your input.

Ahhh, so that's why you are constantly belittling his product. Got it.

This is the guy that isn't happy unless he can get it rolled into his loan for an additional $14/month on his payment.

You have the MSR, so what do you care if it covers more of the radiator. You also dont have the sensor below your M badge that others have asked about, so MSR made an extension to clear it...I don't even own it and I know more.

I know you paid his absurd price, so you're obligated to justify it. He's your new best friend (temporarily) because you just made his mortgage payment for what is ultimately $100 worth of piping and a few hours of his time for "OK welds" - http://www.6post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1095919. Good job, pumpkin.

4 cars all in cash? Wow. Then why are you crying like a baby about an intake that you'd buy if they made for your truck?

Who's crying, I think you guys are idiots to pay $3500ish for metal tubing. I asked if he made one, that doesn't mean I'd buy it. A guy named Grumpy calling me a crybaby...

I know, I know, you boys didn't ask for my opinion (my GF doesn't like logic and facts either), but here's a little visual since you who can't pay attention to details as you're too busy blowing (no pun intended) up your new buddies intake system. I know an inch doesn't matter between you two boys, but I doubt if the engine will notice.

I didn't pay anywhere NEAR $3500...not even a little bit close. Where do you get your numbers from? Also, I like your apples to oranges comparison of the MSR Night Vision (which I do not have as described by the picture I posted) to the other version. I see what you did there.

*Edited to say- I am happy with my purchase and the gains that it gives the car (period). You have your opinion that seems to bleed into any thread that MSR is brought up in. This is the last you'll hear from me on this subject as personal attacks are not something I have time for - especially on a car forum.

Wow this is a old thread that everyone jumped on. I got rid of the F10 M5 I had when I started this. I'm awaiting a Moonstone M6 GC within a week and I already have the MSR. My friend has it in his M6 and he has a tune. It sounds INSANE!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing. If I'm in amy GT3 that has a Fabspeed exhaust, and my windows are open... I can hear his spool over my exhaust when he is behind me.
