UK Delivery Timings

Hey Guys,

Could any UK chaps kindly share with me their delivery timings of cars you ordered.

I have been working off this schedule and as of today my car is at 9000 - Departed Plant. Just trying to get a steer on when my car will be arriving. I have plugged in some relevant dates too which may help if anyone wants some idea about how quickly or not so quickly things are happening

I'm kind of getting a bit impatient now

But more importantly I am off to South America on the 5th December so, sort of hoping will arrive before I fly out so I can bring it home and not be sitting at a dealership until I return on the 23rd December

Paid deposit over the phone - 30th October
Paid another deposit at the dealership and signed order form - 31st October

1100 Scheduled
1200 Scheduled for Production
5000 Confirmed for Production
5050 Chassis Number Allocated - 31st October
5055 Confirmed by Production Control - 2nd November

5100 Bodyshop Start
5190 Bodyshop Complete - 10th November
5200 Paintshop Start
5270 Paintshop Complete
5300 Pre-Assembly Start
5400 Assembly Start
5500 Assembly Complete - 12th November

6000 Transfer to Distribution - 16th November
8200 Released to Carrier
9000 Departed Plant
9615/35/45 In Storage

Which dealer did you go through and how are you receiving all these updates? I ordered mine end-Oct and delivery is expected early Dec. I'm not sure how this happened as my last F10 took around 4 months to delivery.

I ordered through Cooper Thames Ditton.

But essentially I call BMW UK, every day

Once I give them my Order number they tell me the current Status Code.

Do you have your VIN number yet ? I presume so and if so, you can at least find out if its been built or not. Actually if you tell me the colour you ordered I can probably decipher this too.

You can PM me the VIN if you prefer
