RG Sport Extended Paddle shift lever

Guys,

I would like to introduce our new products, the extended paddle shift lever for F series chassis BMW.
It features:

- Stronger material 6061-T6 Aluminum, unlike the OEM Plastic on the Sport steering wheel or Cast Aluminum on the M cars.
- Longer and wider for better grip and reach even with hand position at 10 and 2 o'clock or 8 and 4 o'clock.
- OEM silver finish (Anodized Black coming soon)
- Fits both F chassis M Car and F chassis with Sport Steering wheel
- Includes our own proprietary mounting base
Note: The OEM module is not included. You will need to re-use the original module.

Here are the pictures. Enjoy!!!

Feel free to PM or contact us to pre-order.

Might look better with on PreLCI. Do they fit on those steering wheels?

boots , thank you for the feedback.

13M5F10 , unfortunately it doesn't fit since the design is different. But, you can upgrade the steering wheel to the new one.

Make something that looks good for the Pre-LCI steering wheel and you have my money. The 2012 and 2013 M5 or more numerous than the 14, 15, and 16. I actually like the Pre-LCI wheel but I always wished it had a better looking paddles.

IMHO, OEM looks better. These look a bit wedgy - would look better if you shape them a bit point at the ends as the ones in Ferrari and Maserati.

What would be cooler if is there was a very subtle Orange LED glow at the tips of the paddles...

Good luck.

paddles

Correct me if I'm wrong, but on the last picture it seems to me that the ( right ) paddle is a bit too close to the wiper switch, and I'm almost positive that if you were to try to use it ( pull toward the steering wheel spray the windshield ) while driving it would hit the switch.... too close for safety reasons if you ask me.
Sorry not my cup of tea

Nope, it will not hit the paddle shifter when you pull the windshield wiper stalk.
Of course we take a look at that before we start the production.

Paddles and the creek

Props on making a high quality piece of hardware for the M. I am afraid that I have to agree with some of the comments so far. I looks out of place with BMW ergonomic design. I have a suggestion and FWIW - I absolutely loved the paddles in my 08 M5 AND THEY HAD LIGHTING. I really miss that style of paddle and the light.

Can you took a picture of your stock paddle shifter from the back of the steering wheel?

greentrbo95gst Do you have the Pre-LCI steering wheel?
LMK if I can borrow your car to check fitment.

This is a classic example of someone designing a product with very little design thinking. He probably thought "what would a cool paddle look like" instead of "what would a cool paddle look like in this car, attached to this steering wheel".

You'd have to have no sense of aesthetics to buy this product.

+1

And why has no one not done the glow led paddle shifters like the e60?

Completely unnecessary to actively discourage/insult his prospective customers. OP simply asked for individual thoughts about a product...i.e. market research. Simple like it/don't like it would have sufficed. No need to crap all over this man's business.

OP why don't you do some market research first and find out what we really want. So far the majority if us don't like it but if you re-style it and add some lighting you'd sell them like mad. I'm not a fan but give it the solidity and lighting of the E60 and I'm sold...
