Daily Drive 20,000 mpa?

Hi, some superb cars in here. I'm more lily to go for the new F80/82. Quick question for you guys though, does anyone really daily drive high mileage in theirs or is it financial suicide? Here in the UK I'm about 15-20 mpa.

Yeah, I use mine as a daily driver (20.000 miles / year)

Coming from a 535d F10 I can definitely see the difference. In the Netherlands only BP sells 98 RON petrol which costs about € 1.80/liter. Diesel costs € 1.50/liter.
My M5 averages 18 Mpg, the 535d 26 Mpg.

However, there will be no financial meltdown for me because of Mpg

Yep, I'm at about the 15k miles per annum bracket, drove almost 1k miles last week and averaged 26mpg (UK MPG), i wasn't hanging around either - depends really if you're referring to residual values with high miles or purely fuel expense.

I'm pleasantly surprised with the real world mpg.

I am in UK do about 14k per annum. I don't think too much about the petrol costs or tco as I only have one car so it needs to do everything. So I see additional miles on the m5 as a saving ( not having another car)

Used to do about 20k per annum when I had my 750i.
