Running in service

Just had my running in service and I know that there aren't supposed to be any changes to the performance, with only LC being activated, but the car feels harder and more powerful... The revs seem to climb so much faster..... Am I mad or is there a change to the throttle/ engine mapping during the service?

No change. You are just driving harder and taking the car past 5k revs.

I know the feeling, felt the same after mine, it's like a different car! Or maybe it's all psychological. Who know, but loving it all the same lol Now wheres my keys.....

Actually how you run in your M5 determines whether it will use a ton of oil or not over its life..so it's a good thing that your car feels so different after the run in service as it means you didn't hammer it..

Taking mine in tomorrow morning. I've behaved so far but it's been difficult.
