It does have stand out looks, especially in white.

Having said this, Vic has even managed to make his RS7 rear look good in his side profile pics. Audi should employ him to validate their press photos prior to release!

Dude, how did you manage to get a ban; I thought I was in line before you with my misunderstood subtle jokes (which just get deleted instead)?

lol.... @Vic55 has a stable of nice cars
I got banned because I tried to help people (in M3/M4 forum) by providing information about how to engage LC that was deleted! because I made people confused
Let's move on for now we will return to this subject later on
But I learned something and that's why I like this forum since you will be educated
There is no pushing forward lever for DCT in M3/M4

I'm convinced BMW picks up owner feedback from forums such as this. Simplified LC has to be a +ve, although I'm yet to try the '@Soooma' method in the M5.

@Soooma method is a simplified method that saves time!
However as I said you don't need to push forward and hold the lever in F8X M3/M4. It's more simple now to get it worked easier

Well then, mbdurham17, get your suit on, we need ya! This forum is already a better place with simply the Fonz reference.

I just learned something new about the mighty M4/M3
That's why I looked like a fool trying to teach the SA how to engage LC in M4 and I wasn't able to get the flag to show up but what saved me was the fact that the car had 200 miles on it and not broken in yet so no 1200 miles service done yet and I told him with a sigh if relief yet mischievously (Unbeknownst to me that I did so out of ignorance - it wouldn't work because NOT BROKEN IN!!

The point is that the ECU disables the Launch Control in current M cars (M3/M4/M5/M6) during the brake-in period to protect the engine, transmission and differential until they brake-in properly. Ok I get that and unlike many people who do not believe in Brake-in, I believe if BMW design engineers recommend something, it must be followed. BUT what I cannot understand is that people can put the same stress on the car during brake-in period by turning off the DSC and mash the gas! there is no limitation on RPM and just is asked in manual "do not rev more than 5500 or exceed speed more than 100 or so". It's like you ask a kid "please don't have ice cream while there are a lot ice cream in refrigerator "
I'm sure many people won't follow the user's manual and push the car to the limits in brake-in period especially when the car is leased... I believe these cars and any high performance cars must be broken-in carefully.
I did follow manual and after Brake-in service I felt car was getting faster and faster in next 1000 miles!
