These guys seem to be the prefered supplier of upgraded clutches on f10 m5's. Lots of threads on this.

If you burnt your clutches and oil which is VERY likely on map 8 (anything over 22psi) you will get all sorts of errors- upgrade the clutch and flush the fluid then replace the filter- all avalilable from SSP.

If you got the Rod 5-7 error it's more than the clutch. Read my DCT build thread...

Oil burning isn't the Trans - check your turbos as well. Did you overboost?

Sounds like you smoked the clutch and it is still stuck in gear. The steel plates are more than likely warped causing the clutch not to be able to retract.

Sorry to hear about this bro. Let us know when you figure out what your gonna do. I'm sure a lot of people are going to run into this issue considering they are running similar setups.. I'm sure running meth can make massive power gains, but at what costs. Also over boosting is another issue. Best to play it safe with a conservative tune, unless you got 10k stashed away for new clutches. With that said anytime you mod, gotta make sure you got deep pockets. Keep us updated.

Maybe Kris can chime in - possibly other sensors are damaged not just the mechanical items

When you put another clutch in the car, the adaptation procedure needs to be done. The old codes will not go away until this procedure is done. The car will not drive and function correctly.

Great news.

Let everyone know how you go with the install of the SSP clutch and first impressions on driving.

Yes I remember. Awesome to speak with you about your build. Its great that the customers call themselves and ask questions. We take the time to explain this transmission in detail to our customers and dealers.

Thank you for the business. Your clutch and filter were expedited to you via fedex. I just checked the tracking for you and your parts were in France.
