Question for 2013 M5 owners

Has anyone looked at ordering and installing the LCI Competition Package stabilizer bars? Apparently these bars reduce bodyroll. Could be a quick easy enhancement.

BMW will sell you the CP and nothing else. I'm talking about ordering the parts and installing them at the dealership. Sway bar set is typically $450-500.

Good luck with your retrofit... Not sure if certain parts will equal the whole, but i think it's a challenge.... http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=873975

Jason asked this first thing...

"Can Competition Package parts/software be retrofitted?

No, official retrofit support will not be provided by BMW here in the U.S. But, of course some parts can be retrofitted by individual owners if they went to enough lengths to do so. Some things would be easier of course, but steering and software would be difficult. The demand for retrofit is lower in U.S. due to the higher lease penetration and higher car turnover. In comparison, Europe supports retrofitting more than the U.S."

Highly doubt through BMW but not to say you couldn't try something after market. I have somewhat given up trying to make my M5 any more sporty .. BMW sent it to me this way and I will love it or list it! My buddy is getting a 2014 and hope to drive it in a few weeks... will let you know if there is that much noticeable difference.

The sway bars are available from Germany at a price of $525 from IND.
