Bmw coding via thumb drive

I saw a vendor on here that is selling a lot of the common coding for vehicles via placing the code on a thumb drive that you plug into you mr car and is automatically loaded. Now, I can't for the life of me find the vendor. I know it was a commonly used BMW vendor. Can anyone help out my aging mind. Even google is of no help. Thank you in advance.

Indeed... monkeys are known to have went through space programs, but none have actually flown more than once.

Coding can be done remotely. All you need is a laptop and coding cable. There are a few coders on the forums that know what they are doing.

Look up Okee. He has coded several of my cars, in person and via remote connection. He even saved me from having to tow my 135 to the dealer by remotely coding my TCU after a transmission rebuild. He is reasonable on his price and will re-code your car for free if the dealer wipes/restores your car. Codemycar.com

Some will say that you can do it yourself, and you could. I have looked into doing it myself and am not comfortable enough to DIY.

BTW. I believe he's a RIT alumni and lives somewhere in NY.

That's very expensive for something that you can just do yourself.

Get yourself a copy of eSys (including all the data files, launcher with token, etc - see here for instructions: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=631884 ) and you can do a lot more, for a lot less money and you get to learn a lot too.
