"Down" should not be more then $2000 on this car- TTL and first payment. Where is the rest going? I know it's not MSDs.

Dont know about that down payment, but where im standing is,
$120,440
10k/36m
$ 3,000 + 7 msd ($9k) due @ signing
$1,250 a month including bmw wheel and tire insurance

Thanks for your advice, I had no idea what MSD was after talking the dealer, it made much more sense. So I did maximum MSD (a bit more than 11.2k) instead of 6k down. This way, my payment stays similar to 6k down but when I return my car, I can get 8.4k back (basically, my drive off was all gov/dealer fee + 1st payment + 8.4k MSD).

Gotta love this forum. Thank you guys!

I wouldn't put down 6k on it. Closer to zero cap cost reduction and shoot for the same payment.
