1. Did you try the on/off button on the left near the light switch?

2. Did you check the fuses?

You might have hit the on/off button by accident or uncheked the box in the settings.

Well now you know what its like to drive a Jaguar or a Porsche.

Jaguar is at least implementing HUD. Porsche say they don't believe in it !?

Button is checked on both 1-2. But when I pick up my car today I'll look to see if on off button was hit. Porsche driving so fast the hud flew away.

I wish Porsche's had HUD's. I'm addicted to the technology of BMWs, Audi's, and Mercedes now, I can't live without it. Although I wish Audi would put a HUD on the R8, I mean come on it's their flagship car! Lol!

Boots, one time when I had my E60 M5, also equipped with a HUD, I got it back from the detailer and they used these laminated cards to help identify a cars owner. They would always put these cards on the dash of the vehicle and it just happened that day that the color of the card and the size of it, fit perfectly inside of whole where my HUD is when it fell and got lodged in there. Due to the color of it I didn't notice it by a reflection in the windshield either. So when I got back in the car I didn't notice that my HUD wasn't displaying on the windshield like normal and I drove off. I soon then realized my HUD wasn't working and started freaking out thinking that the detailer broke my HUD somehow. I was pressing the button for the HUD like crazy and it simply didn't work. I got home, checked the fuses, disconnected the battery, I even called my Service Advisor. I just couldn't figure out what would make the HUD fail. I was pissed. Then later on that day I was walking towards my car from the front and just caught a glance of inside the hole where the HUD is on the dash and I noticed a weird color in there. I investigated and low and behold I pulled out that stupid laminated card. I was relieved, stressed, and embarrassed when I called my Service Advisor back and told her the story. Lol! Hope it's the same issue for you bud.

Lol. Damn laminated cards yea sometimes we don't realize things until it's too late even though we investigate all possible avenues. I did a bone head I guess and somehow pushed the button on the left side of of the steering wheel. Actually I forgot that button was there an guess I pushed it by accident. I'm feel silly as I called another member where that button was. I could have slapped myself. All is back to normal now. No more squeak from the bushings. Now I have to buy rear brakes. The money pit don't stop. But it's so much fun.

It's interesting no HUD on R8. Also no HUD on AMG-GTS even though C-Class gets HUD.
