700+WHP No BCM, No Meth

Hey guys, I know there are a million threads like this.... I suppose another one couldn't hurt.

I am just looking for examples of people able to achieve 700 WHP + without using the BCM.

I am planning my next upgrade, in which I will be removing the Jb4 stage 1 and going to a full flash. Its not worth for me to do this unless I am going to achieve 700 WHP +, as I am assuming I am sitting at around 600 - 620 WHP with the STage 1 5.0 setting + Intake/catback exhaust.

However what I am struggling with is I do not see any examples of people achieving this power level, without stacking with the BCM or getting a custom dyno tune.

Since I live in Edmonton Alberta the only option I have is to ship my ECU's to a tuner in the states or Europe for flash.

Any realistic chance of me hitting this power level without the Custom Dyno Tweaking, or stacking with a BCM ??

P.S not too keen on downpipes unless absolutely required.... my car sounds awesome as is dont want to screw with it.

There is no such thing as a JB4 Stage1. You have a Stage1. The flash only maps are limited to around 22psi and I don't think you'll hit 700whp at such a low boost level.

I seen Mission Performance advertising that upgrading tmap sensors has allowed them to accomplish similar results as stacking with Jb4+BCM.

I was going to mention Mission Performance. Alex says changing out the stock 3 bar map sensors to 3.5 bar will allow him to flash the tune past 22psi. He did my flash and got me to 678whp with stock downpipes. I'm local to him and was planning on this in the next few months after I figure out my water/meth setup.

edit: I only plan on running water injection at first as I dont want to mess with storing meth in my garage, and also because I have a couple E85 pumps close to my house.

Lol. No need to ship. Contact HC Performance for those results you are asking about. Yes changing out the map sensor will get you there. No stacking involved. Just a good ol tune.

Agreed with boots. Halim and I know DME have both hit over 700w without the BCM. I believe it was 710-720 max on stock turbos .... Save up some extra monies for clutches. Haha

Hey B. If the ECU has not already been unlocked don't you still either have to ship it the first time, or go somewhere to have them removed and drilled first?

I contacted Alex with Mission Performance for some tuning solution's for my BMW clients.

Recently on a F06 M6 I sent out the DME's to Alex.
I meanwhile installed the 3.5MBar sensors in the intake manifold and replaced the spark plugs with a smaller gap.
Vehicle has catless downpipes only aside from the sensors.
Put down over 700WHP on a Dynojet.

Alex is great to work with. I already have other BMW projects in the works with him currently.

I'm preparing a write up to show all that was done with Mission Performance and my shop.
I have the runs logged to show air/fuel and everything else that is important.
Car runs great and this a great powerful running engine.
Next is SSP DCT clutches and Pure upgrade turbos.

Flash tuning is limited to 22psi unless you upgrade to stage 2 flash with 3.5bar MAP sensors. We have few cars running right now with 24-26lb of boost without JB4 or any other piggybacks

I don't see any haters here ... Get out of here with that non sense. Everyone has a choice to go with whoever they want to go with. If yours is MP, go for it. Nothing wrong with that.
