Wheel offset help needed please

If I want to keep my tire sizes 20" with 265/295 tires, what offset do I need for the wheels to be flush? NOT poking out though. Just flush like MS spacers make he car look. I refuse to use spacers anymore.

Also, I have the 343M wheel and noticed my rear 295 tire looks rather MEATY on that BMW rim. I actually prefer my tires to look like the rear 359M wheel on my E92 M3. Id rather them be totally square or every so slightly stretched like the rear M3 wheel is. But not meaty and hanging over the edge as it is now IMO.

Thanks in advance.

PS: No, I didnt search. Im bored and work and want to chat.

^ I agree with that! You can probably even push it out another 5 mm from the above specs.

Wow! That was a gorgeous setup you had Mastek! What tires sizes were tit running? And that's no spacers right? No rubbing with people in rear?

Thanks!

I can attest to no rubbing as well, and that is under hard driving/track usage.

There is no better wheel for the M5 than the BBS FI. Absolutely perfect:

It's a nice wheel no doubt. It's just not my thing. I'd rather have more spoke.

Good thing is there are a few options out there. Good luck with your search.

Sorry, missed your reply.

Three reasons for going with the BBS FIs:

- They are the lightest 20" wheel available for the M5. If you drive your car hard, and are performance minded you will feel a difference due to the unsprung weight reduction.

- They are manufactured at the same facility which makes the Porsche, Bugatti, and BBS motorsport wheels. There is no higher quality or attention to detail and motorsport heritage combined.

- BMW used the BBS FIs on M5 test mules at the Nurburgring. The offsets and widths (+.5") were actually tested on the car.

Basically, performance first looks second.

Guys what if the rim I want only comes in 20X9 or 20x10. Will the 20x10 fit with a 275/35/20?

Michelin 275/35ZR20 can be installed on 9-11" rims

Why would you want to go lower width for the rears?

Not the rears. The fronts. My question was about that rim and tire size for up front.

I saw a rim I liked but the front was that size. That's all.

Thanks again.

You can do 10 up front with offset of around 33.
275/35 tire should be fine.

Another member is running a 10.5 up front
