New 2014 and New M5 Owner

All,

Just did the jump into M5 land. Decided to trade in my 2014 320 in Germany and the wife's 550 in PA, USA for a 2014 M5 in Germany. (currently assigned in Germany and did not ship the 2012 550iX or 2013 X5 M Sport/M Performance and bought the 320 new as a local use car)

Just so happens to be a new, unwrapped (including the seats), unprepped M5 that was still available at a very substantial discount.

Stats: (odo has 10 miles moving between storage and dealer location)

6/2014 production date
Executive Package
Drivers Assistance Package
343M Wheel Option

Very excited but also need to get some assistance from the forum for the delivery. I am looking to see if there is a list of SIBs or campaigns that I can ensure have been addressed prior to me rolling out. Already know about the brake campaign.

Will get some pics when we get it delivered (this next few days) and on the trip to the Austrian Alps for part of the break in.

Having done 2 EDs (most recently my M5 in December) Im jealous of the time you're gonna get to break the car in on the Autobahn(s).

You should ask for a time based oil change....not the 1200 mile service oil but the original new car oil

It was first under a military purchase program in Germany so basically about the price of ED minus about 1100 or so...then 12k off that.

Enjoy! Which dealer did you use over there? Lots of fun driving to be had with that car in Germany. I'm PCSing to Belgium in 3 days and already working up my next M order.
