2014 F10 M5 project

Hi everyone

My name is Johnny. I have always been a bmw guy my last bmw was an E46 M3. when i got rid of my m3, i went to an 2013 CLS 550. which i love driving everyday. The cls is a 4.6 liter v8 biturbo. i did a much of stuff to the car HRE wheels, Downpipes, full exhaust etc..... but when my buddy pick up his 2013 m5 and did all this mod on it i knew i had to get that m5. So i was working in singapore few months ago, i woke up feeling good and decided that i'm gonna buy an M5 that day. So i call my connect in socal. got the car sent to R1 Motorsport is Chatsworth California where i get all my cars done. When i got back to cali a few weeks later i pick up the car, drove it for about 50 miles. I hated driving stock car so i decided to put the car but in the shop and order all this mod for it. At this point the car only have 85 miles. The car is currently still in the shop and hopefully i get it back in a couple weeks.

i love my CLS its has a lot of power but doesnt handle like an m5, with all the mod on my cls i dyno at 515rwhp and like 595 ft-lbs.

At that time they didnt have the color combo i wanted for the CLS63 , i was willing to wait but they gave in a hell of a deal on this cls 550 that they had it stock, so in my head i was like ill get this cls for now and get an m5 in a fews months. but if i would of got the cls63 i wouldnt have bought the m5.

Nice build!

Question...we both have similar exhaust setups (except I have catted AMS DP's)...are you getting any undesirable noises from your exhaust, whether it be undesirable droning, trumpeting noises, or even the wastegate rattle issue on deceleration? Just curious.

Thank bro i have to ask the shop what the name of that vinyl. no rubbing on that drop. i'm still waiting on my Red 21s ADV1 to come in

thank you i haven't really got to drive the car yet because its not completely done yet, the car is still at the shop. but once i get it back ill let u know. the car on has like 85 miles on it

bolt ons are usually typical common ones you see tossed around on everybodys cars. But the vinyl wrap and coilovers along with the bolt ons etc... take it to the next level. very well done and an awesome color choice and wheel choice.
