HELP Please - Comfort Access issue

Hi,

I took delivery of my used M5 which has got Comfort Access on Monday, however the car seems to unlock randomly soon after i lock it (sometimes when i approach the car it will just open up without me putting my hand on the handle), the drivers door handle comfort access doesn't work but the other three do. The car also briefly displayed a low battery discharge warning message.

Had to revert to locking it with the manual key and keeping both keys away from the car.

Any ideas what this could be?

the low battery issue could just be because the car hasn't been used for a while whilst its been waiting to be sold...Id suggest taking it for a good blast of at least 50 miles and then see what happens with regards to the comfort access to see if its battery related...Otherwise get BMW out and ask them to run a diagnostic to see if any errors are coming up

Thanks for the response, took it back to the dealer this afternoon and it seems that the driver side handle also houses the comfort access control module which isn't working, they've order the part but will it will take until the weekend to arrive from Germany.

Apparently checking the comfort access system isn't part of the approved used checks.
