Not bad. Doesnt look too much different from the F10. I see the current chassis aging well.

So, basically, they pulled the lower front end off of the new M3 and slapped it on a pic of a current M5?

Am I missing anything else (other than the same thing on the rear)?

I hope the new one has some nice fat fenders like the m3 and differentiates itself from the standard 5 series with an m kit. Needs to have a carbon fiber roof with a nice fat ass with more aero features and comes with some obnoxious colors and a stock exhaust that sounds good enough to keep it stock. They stole the Audi Quattro guy so steal the AMG sound dude. Come on already.

LOL...
To me this is the combination of E92, F10, F80, F82

Wow nice render. That looks smoking hot.

With that said I'm looking out for the following features:
-More than 600 horsepower (BMW said that they might use electric turbochargers to do this)
-Availability of xDrive AWD
-Possible availability of a STATION WAGON bodystyle variant

It's going to be a very interesting next-gen version

OP I don't know if you are the designer of this render, so please don't take offense, but I really don't like it. Not because of the effort, but because of the lack of imagination. Whomever made this render took the front bumper of the F80 M3 and combined it with the rear bumper of the M6. Headlights and Tail lights seem more realistic, but the F80 M3 style side vent and sideview mirrors are not good. Why do people/artists simply borrow design cues from other places instead of trying something original on their own? I will say the only thing accurate about this render is that the next M5 will indeed have the same style in the front where the headlights meet the front grills and that the side turn signals will be moved from the fender to the side view mirrors, which I hate. The F10 M5 will be the last generation of M car to feature side turn signals integrated with the ///M Side Vent and this makes me sad. I predict even softer more smoother flowing lines on the next generation M5. Unlike the M3, which is supposed to be a car in the sports car segment, the M5 is supposed to be the more luxurious understated, classier looking sports sedan than other ///M cars and than other cars in the same segment, like the CTS-V which has aggressive lines. The only M5 to really break this tradition was the E60 M5, which had some aggressive styling to it that people both loved and hated. I don't think we will see another Bangle-like design on an M car for many generations, if at all. So with that I think it's unrealistic to render a future M5 with sharp angles in the front bumper like an F80 M3 though I could be wrong. We'll find out in about 4 years from now.
