36/10 is 67%(!) and .00137. Ridiculous residual!

No need to relock. When the time comes for you to sign, then pick the best months program during your 60 or 90 day window that your application is valid for. Unless your app will expire and you want to make sure you can use this months numbers, then yes, you will have to submit another app.

I bought in August of 2015 and my residual was 63% for 36/10.

Edited residual, thank you for the correction.

Wow, that's insane! So the best play today is to order one and then pick between July/Aug programs 😀

Yes. August is usually the sweet spot for the best residual.

Production on F10 ends in August. BMW inflates residuals to make leases more attractive to move existing inventory in preparation for next MY arriving on dealer lots.

I'm still confused. APR aside since I am leasing, my dealer and BMWUSA is showing the residual for the M5 at 67%, while GOLFFRR mentioned it's 66%. (36/10) Hope it gets clarified soon as I sign in a couple of weeks.

I asked my dealer as well, and he also said it's 67% (36/10) for the 5 series, including the M5.

That's impossible bro. You may wanna rethink this statement. BMWNA sets the residual. I got my car in August 2015 also and the residual at that time as set by BMW for 36 months 10K miles was 63% for a 2015 M5 and 60% for a 2016 M5. I know this for a fact since I canceled my 2016 euro delivery to buy a 2015 car at a better monthly payment.

That being said, 67% is a freaking amazing deal for this car. I'm guessing that you can get a car with all 3 packages, B&O, and full leather for under $1100 with that residual and full MSDs.

Anyone think August will bring a higher residual than 67% or should I lock in my m5 now?
