Speedo is quite off

Hey guys, just bought a 2013 M5, came from a 2011 550i

At 80 mph (gps) in my 550i I would technically have to put the cruise control at 82mph, totally ok.

But with the M5, I noticed I have to put the cruise control at 85 mph to do 80mph on gps !!
5mphs off is a good difference, and can quickly add to the mileage.

Stock wheels and tires. Can that be corrected ? its out of oem warranty.

This is normal. This has been discussed several times... up to about 10% and something is normal
I recall hitting 170 mph with my M6 while we know it's limited to 155 mph... Many people reported the same thing

Yea mine hit 165 today on the display, didnt check GPS.

I guess I'll deal with it. Thanks
